The 2016 Riesling Bremmer Calmont Kabinett has a clear, precise, warm and spicy-mineral bouquet with an acceptable note of reduction. Pure, fresh and lean but complex and spicy, with lingering salinity and piquancy, this is a picture-book Kabinett that has the perfect sweetness. Straight, piquant and racy, this is a gorgeous wine. It did not undergo malolactic fermentation and has 49 grams of residual sugar and 8% alcohol. Tasted February 2018.
