Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 16
Healthy medium red; a bit less saturated than the Véroilles. Sappy, pure scents of red cherry, raspberry, menthol and flowers. Sweet and penetrating, displaying terrific acid cut and lift to the tangy flavors of red fruits, flowers and minerals. More reserved and upright than the Véroilles today, showing less early volume, but plenty dense and not at all hard or dry. The tightest and most backward of these 2013s, finishing firmly tannic, classically dry and very long. This should age a long time.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
