Robert Parker Wine Advocate Stephan Reinhardt - 04 Mar 16
The 2014 Oberemmeler Hütte Riesling Kabinett (AP #6) – according to VDP rules designated as Hütte Oberemmel – is more fruit-driven Riesling that was picked eight days later at decreasing moon than the Vollmond wine. There are smoky stony flavors in the background. Sweet, pure and piquant on the palate, this is a finesse-full and very juicy/fruity, lovely, light and slate-like Riesling. The bouquet still shows some sulfur notes.
