Matured in 10% new wood, the 2013 Bourgogne Rouge has a clean and relatively generous bouquet with satisfying raspberry and crushed strawberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins. The acidity is well judged and there is a confit-like finish. Overall, it represents a very commendable Bourgogne Rouge and will doubtless be good value.
