Vinous Neal Martin - 17 Jan 24
The 2022 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru has a tightly wound, mineral-driven bouquet that needs time to gradually unfurl. Black rather than red fruit here. The medium-bodied palate has sappy red fruit, fine depth and good grip. A more sinewy Clos Vougeot that should stand it in good stead for long-term aging. Excellent.
